Jelly Roll and Machine Gun Kelly have premiered their collaborative single, “Lonely Road,” which the duo previously teased and fine-tuned for two years.
“Lonely Road” features an homage to John Denver’s 1971 tune “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” and MGK captioned a post of the collaboration: “Countdown to KellyRoll activated. Thanks to John Denver for paving the way .. 2 years, 8 different studios, 4 different countries, [and] changed the key 4 times ..we finally got it right.”
“Lonely Road” is accompanied by a video featuring MGK and Jelly along with their respective partners, Megan Fox and Bunnie Xo. MGK and Jelly star as hardworking car mechanics doing their best to make ends meet for their families. In addition, Megan is shown sporting a baby bump, and is holding a newborn baby at the end of the clip (it has since been revealed that Fox wore a fake bump in the visual, and is not expecting in real life).
